PSG Konsult Academy is proud to provide a friendly training environment for learners towards the National Certificate in Financial at NQF Level 6. We are offering you the full qualification with a minimum of (120 credits) in two study schools on a modular basis which will be easy to complete over a 12-18 month period.

With these two focused study schools, we offer a unique learning opportunity to build your confidence and capabilities to work in the field of specialized financial planning, legislation, estate planning, retirement planning and investment transactions. The facilitation is interactive and presented by subject matter experts. We are confident that you will not just obtain the necessary credits but that you will leave the program with a demonstration of competence in a wide range of aspects related to financial planning, which encompass the understanding and execution of Financial Planning practices.

This qualification is not Unit Standards based and the aim is to provide learners with a practical understanding of Financial Planning within a broad context. It offers extensive insight into Financial Planning, allows for specialization in different areas. This qualification intends to create access to post-graduate learning. Successful students will receive a letter of competence after the successful completion of each study school as well as a statement of credits from PSG Konsult Academy after successful verification by Inseta.

PROGRAM

The tutoring will take place in four study schools over a ten (10) month period starting February 2011. There will be a closed book assessment +-4 weeks after the last subject's facilitation of each study school. You must attend all study schools (SS1-SS4) in the calendar year. You cannot attend one study school in one year and the other study school the next year, because the material is designed for a specific year; e.g. Tax, Investments, etc.

Study School 1 (40 credits) - Program in Tax and Business Insurance Solutions
Scheduled over a period of 2.5 months, including the assessment - Closed Book Summative Assessment (3Hrs)

Study School 2 (20 credits) - Program in Legislation and Economics
Scheduled over a period of 2.5 months, including the assessment - Closed Book Summative Assessment (3Hrs)

Study School 3 (35 credits) - Program in Financial Statements and Investments
Scheduled over a period of 2.5 months, including the assessment - Closed Book Summative Assessment (3Hrs)

Study School 4 (30 credits) - Program in Corporate Benefits
Scheduled over a period of 2.5 months, including the assessment - Closed Book Summative Assessment (3Hrs)

TOTAL: 125 credits

*You only have 6 (six) months to complete each study school from start of that study school up to a maximum of 18 (eighteen) months (re-assessments included) for the full qualification. If unsuccessful, you need to reregister and pay again.

• Four (4) installments of R3 388.00 each for the full qualification; or


• Six (6) installments of R2 370.00 each (5% interest) for the full qualification.

• One free summative re-assessment, there after R350.00 per summative assessment paper


• Formative (workbook) Re-assessment: R400.00 per subject

PLEASE NOTE: In case of a cancellation after registration, a 50% cancellation fee will be applicable. No refunds, (thus 100% cancellation fee) for any cancellations within 24 hours before the workshop. No refund will be allowed after you have received your material. Cancellation should be done in writing (fax or e-mail) at least 5 (five) days prior to the workshop.

• One (1) South African Financial Planning Handbook for 2011 (Value +- R1100.00) to be used for the full qualification (all four study schools)

Excludes:
posting/couriering any letters and/or certificates. Letters will be e-mailed and certificates can be collected at Centurion or Cape Town offices, or you can organize your own courier

These prices are valid from 1 November 2010 to 31 October 2011. If you register in 2011, but attend the workshop in 2012, you will be charged the 2012 prices.
