INTRODUCTION
Many insurers, financial advisors and brokers in the Short Term Insurance Industry are facing the challenge of obtaining the required credits
and qualifications as determined by the FAIS Act.
For this reason, PSG KONSULT ACADEMY has been established with excellent faculty members and technical expertise to provide high quality and user
friendly training for learners towards the FETC Qualification in Short Term Insurance NQF Level 4. We are offering you the full qualification
(150 credits) in five study schools on a modular basis which will be easy to complete over a two year period.
With these five focused study schools, we offer a unique learning opportunity to build your confidence and capabilities towards the full
qualification. The facilitation is interactive and presented by subject matter experts. We are confident that you will not just obtain the
necessary credits, but that you will leave the programs a better entrepreneur, financial advisor and administrator.

Day 1 - Tutoring in the first half of the Unit Standards (including all training material and workbooks)
Day 2 - Tutoring in the last half of the Unit Standards 2/3 weeks break to complete workbooks
Day 3 - Review all work and workbooks - Closed Book Assessment in the afternoon

Please note: Both our study schools 1 (Commercial lines & Personal lines) are aligned with SANTAM's Commercial (SMK) and Personal lines (SMP)
training. If you have completed either one of the two courses with SANTAM, you will be exempted from our study schools 1 as our Unit Standards are

ALTERNATIVELY:
If you have completed the SMP through SANTAM and obtained 25 credits, PSG Konsult Academy offers a short skills programme to complete the
outstanding credits towards the full qualification. This skills programme of 8 credits will be offered by means of self study, thus no
facilitation.
You will write a closed book assessment and on the same day hand in the portfolio of evidence for this skills programme.

Notes on SS5:
1. You will be exempted (20 credits) from Communication (Phase 4) if you passed English First Language in Matric.
2. You will be further exempted (20 credits) from Communication if you passed an additional South African Language in Matric.
Additional South African languages include the following:
Sepedi (North Sotho); Sesotho; Setswana; siSwati; Tshivenda; Xitsonga; Afrikaans; isiNdebele; isiXhosa; isiZulu; Sign Language
VERY IMPORTANT:
Exemptions will only be granted if you have the necessary qualification & proof, in other words a certified Matric certificate. Further more you
will only be granted exemption after you have completed all the other unit standards from this qualification.

- R2 090.00 per Study School distance learning
- One free summative re-assessment, there after R300.00 per summative assessment paper
- Formative (workbook) Re-assessment: R115.00 per unit standard
- R 300 per person per exemption, thus per exemption form

PLEASE NOTE:
In case of a cancellation after Registration a 50% cancellation fee will be applicable.
These prices are valid from 1 December 2009 to 31 October 2010. If you register in 2010, but attend the workshop in 2011, you will be charged on
the 2011 price.
